Here we have compiled a list of answers to some of the most common questions we get. If you need any more information or have another question, please don't hesitate to contact us.

  • My child has been in the queue for some time, when will we get a place?

    • A: 

      At present the school has a long queue, however, as soon as place becomes available for your child we will be in touch.
  • Do all children receive bus cards?

    • A: 

      Only those children living a regulated distance from the school receive bus cards. The school measures this distance using a system provided by Linköpings Kommun.
  • Are all subjects taught in English at Internationella Engelska Skolan in Linköping?

    • A: 

      In years 6-9 the subjects Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Technology are taught in English and  English, of course. We are a bilingual school so we use English in the corridors, in the Common Room, during assemblies and other activities. We use English whenever we get the chance.

      In years 4 and 5 we introduce English when teaching a variety of subjects and chat in English during breaks and in the Afternoon Club.
