"I like the fact the school has a broad mix of students, everyone has a different background and comes from a different part of Sweden or the rest of the world." Olivia, ninth grade student
The library at IES Linköping is an important part of school life, used for both lessons and recreational time. Students are able to study, research or escape into a good book throughout the school day. It is a warm, friendly environment where students can learn, create and be inspired.
The books and resources are integral to developing fluency in both languages. Our library considers books in Swedish and English to be of equal importance, allowing students to develop a high level of literacy. Books are categorised into age appropriate sections, encouraging independent learning and helping students to find a book that best fits their needs.
The library now has a new website! Here you can find plenty of resources regarding reading, literacy and research, including access to our catalogue and encyclopedia subscriptions. Our projects page gives a quick snapshot of library activities and events held for our students. You can find all of this by clicking here.
